I can't believe it's already the 20th

I can't believe January is already nearing the end of the month and I have hardly posted at all in the new year.
So here is an update.

Baby numero dos

I feel as though I didn't document much on my pregnancy with Mack and therefore hardly remember any of it even though it was only a year ago.
This time I am determined to document....but probably not with pictures often.

We find out what we are having on February 8th (make your predictions now) which seems forever away.
I must confess July 5th feels like forever away and part of me is incredibly annoyed that I am counting down the weeks til summer hits.
When did I become this person that was so excited for the hot summer months and has welcomed each warm day with a smile simply because it means the truly unbearable days are just around the corner.
I guess it just goes to show that something to look forward to makes the heat a little more bearable.
This pregnancy has been very strange for me.
I feel as though I don't remember a thing from my last pregnancy and everything feels incredibly new.
Like the fact that I can feel the baby moving, but all it feels like is 100 butterfly's in my belly.
I must admit it's distracting....in a good way of course.

I'm on my 17th week and have not gained a pound yet...and yet none of my clothes seem to fit the way I want them to.
I am definitely getting larger around the middle, but only big enough that I can really notice.
The other day Jack declared that I was getting a baby belly and I had to sadly inform him that it is in fact just a food baby because I seem to be hungry ALL the time.

I'm teaching 4 nights a week at the studio and classes already seem to be harder for me than they were last time.
I am blaming that entirely on the fact that I am actually teaching harder classes this year and am required to move much more in much more difficult ways.
I have had to completely stop a couple of times because I could feel my body just not handling all the aggressive movement well.

Okay enough of that talk...

MACK!

This kid is SO much fun!
He has taken on his very own personality...which my mom says is exactly like Jack's.

Some of my favorite things he has been doing lately:

Clap when you say any for of "good boy," "good job," and even "silly boy"

Looks at his favorite farm book for hours...no really the kid loves his farm animals.(yes this picture is from Christmas....and yes I never did a Christmas post....sorry.)

Running faster and faster every day....he seems to want to practice the most at church. must be the long halls tempting him.

Loves these Jackie Chan commercials.

Does not matter what he is doing when he hears this commercial come on the TV he runs right in and stares and claps at the TV until it is over.
I guess Mack inherited Jack's obsession with Jackie Chan....ugh.

And finally...

JACK

After a year of working graveyards 5x8s Jack has finally gotten a 4X10 schedule.
It feels like he is home so much now which is so nice.
Both of us have Wednesdays completely off and are looking forward to actually having a date night.

Last week to take advantage of our afternoon off and the BEAUTIFUL weather we have been having lately we took Mack to the park. (everyday I want to go to the park because I feel it is silly not to take advantage of the perfect weather while we have it...but never want to go alone. Silly I know, but if you ever want to go with us before 4 in the afternoon, me and Mack are totally down!)

I was getting a cold so Jack played with Mack most of the time while I documented.

The kid loves his hills.
He played on the playground for a while, but mostly wanted to run up and down the hills.
I was very glad Jack was there to chase him.

Life has been interesting this last month with some very happy things and some very sad things and I just want to let all our family know especially our Ingram family that we are thinking of you and praying for you everyday.

Have a happy last week and a half of January!
