Not quite there

A few weeks ago I started working on a rag rug.
11 sheets and a lot of tired and sore fingers later, and I am still not quite there.

{pretty good for not crocheting since I was 8 years old huh?}
I love this rug so much and I have spent a ton of time making it just the right colors, and size, but I'm thinking it still needs a bit more.
I'm thinking now that I need about 4 more sheets....seriously one barely makes it around 2.5 times.
This things is massive.

When I crochet with it on my lap I feel like I have 1000 lbs. on my lap.
Seriously massive.

After working on this project, I now understand why most good rugs cost an arm and a leg.
The good thing is that now that I know I can do it, I will only have to give up a couple of hands for a custom rug.
A ton of work that is totally paying off.

Wow, that is impressive! I had my doubts when you first mentioned a rag rug, but that is gorgeous. The colors are perfect-- like something out of Anthropologie! Great job, girl!
